B2B Marketing

Business to business is the marketing to businesses and organizations that use them for three purposes:

1.  Manufacture other good/services for resale

2.  Resell them

3.  Support basic operations

B2B marketing asks what YOU need and how they can partner.  It also customizes products to fit YOUR needs.  They deliver to YOU, send YOU invoices and ask if YOU need financing. 

When I think of B2B marketing I think of last summer when I worked as the Communications Intern at ChemPoint.  ChemPoint is a chemical distributing company located in Bellevue, Washington. They distribute specialty and fine chemicals to companies such as Dow, DuPont and BASF, to name a few.
